    TOBIAS, Ronald “Polk-a-dot”
    Age 77, of Covington, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, at his home.
    He was born December 3, 1935, in Covington, Ohio, to his parents James L.
    Tobias & Velva C. (Godown) Boehringer. Ronald graduated from Covington High
    School Class of 1953. In 1956, he married Adelia V. Lucous and together they
    shared a life for 57 years. He worked for Champion Paper, Finfrock Construction,
    and was a Covington Police Officer. He had also been employed at Subler
    Trucking, Manfredi Trucking, and most recently retired from PTI Trucking. He
    enjoyed fishing, poker night with the guys, and going to casinos with dear
    friends Kenton & Jill Ervin. He will be missed by his loving wife Adelia
    Tobias of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law James & Sharon (Chandler)
    Tobias of Covington, Michael & Denise (Richard) Tobias of Covington, Robert
    & Shirley (Goble) Tobias of Warsaw, IN; daughter and son-in-law Kim &
    Dave Burgess of Covington; grandchildren Rachel & Joe Bandura, Ronnie
    Tobias, Nick & Luke Tobias, Heather Tobias and fiancé Jordan Burelison,
    Holly Tobias and fiancé Jordan Monnin, Michael Tobias; brother Bruce A. Tobias;
    2 great grandchildren; sisters Marianne Ervin of Nappanee, IN, Pauline Adamson
    of Marion, IN, Carol Sue Lanning of Bremen, IN and Carol Jean Hershberger of Bremen,IN.
    He was preceded in death by his parents James Tobias, Velva C. Boehringer, Alice V. Dumph; brother Keith E.
    Tobias, Tom L. Rohr, Butch Ervin; sister Sharon K. Pate. Services will be held
    7:00 PM Thursday, February 14, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High
    Street, Covington, with Pastor Ralph Schaafsma officiating. The family will receive
    friends from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. A committal service will be
    held 10:00 AM Friday at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, 7875 N. Crescent Dr.
    Covington. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater
    Community Church, 7900 W. Sugar Grove Rd, Covington, Ohio, 45318. Online memories may be left for the family at
